1951 Acid Etched Solid Gilt Ground Cabinet Plate - 11 inch

A fine quality Royal Worcester bone china display cabinet plate in a gently lobed circular shape measuring just under 11 inches (or precisely 27.5cm). With a deep well and opulent all-over solid gilt ground, acid etched, displaying a detailed pattern of stylised foliage and flowers leading to a thick gold border.

On the reverse, the cabinet plate rests on a raised hand-gilded foot rim with a gold Royal Worcester back stamp to the centre and a further impressed underglaze mark. The marks date is post-war, with a single dot date code to the W, dating to 1951.
