Giles Cat Candle Snuffer
Royal Worcester produced the Connoisseur Collection of candle snuffers towards the end of production at the factory. They drew upon the company’s heritage, reputation and experience to produce a highly collectable new connoisseurs range of candle snuffers. Within the new collection there were four mini series - Tudor Royals, Animals, Fruits and Orientals.
Giles Cat is part of the Animals series of candle snuffers and is beautifully modelled in Fine Bone China and elaborately hand decorated. The Giles Cat snuffer is decorated with deep blue panels of a Worcester ‘scale’ pattern combined with floral sprays typical of those painted by Worcester artists through the company’s history.
22 carat gold has been delicately applied by the steady hands of Royal Worcester’s most experienced gilders to add the finishing touches.
Made and hand decorated at the Worcester Factory towards the end of the factorys production this vintage animal candle snuffer was produced around 1999-2000.

Superb condition with no damage or restoration and complete as it would have left the factory 20 years ago:
- Near perfect original satin lined padded gift box.
- Original Royal Worcester Candle Snuffers Connoisseur Collection printed colour brochure; detailing all the candle snuffers of the series.
